Legal Representation- C. Inskeep AWARE decided to speak with a lawyer
about what we should do to get recognition of and perhaps prevent further
incidents such as when a vehicle ran up on the curb barely missing
protesters. Most likely candidate is Ellyn Bullock a 1991 graduate of
UI college of law and assoc. Of Nally, Haasis, and Bauer in Champaign,
which specializes in civil and criminal law. She said that she'll be able
to talk with us after she finishes a case in about 2 weeks. Last week
John Mcmahon was contacted. He is also willing to meet with us but his
focus is on the environment. He would be willing to offer pro-bono legal
advice. Other lawyers have been recommended but these haven't been followed
up on. Comments and advice are welcome.
Citizens Police Review board- K. Urban and R. Baldwin (passed out a
petition for signatures for a CPRB) Attended VEYA meeting (Visionaries

alternatives to jail instead of community concerns like racial profiling.

tabling at the farmer's market which starts next week May 15) Community
groups are now charged 5 dollars per week to reserve a table. Trifold
